Over the last 3 weeks I’ve spent a lot of time cuddling my little Livia and trying to find a new routine in our life, which has changed a bit. I’m so pleased I did manage to find time for a couple of photo session as since I took the photographs she has already changed a lot.
We have taken a few casual family photographs which are spontaneous and natural and relate more to our everyday life. I do however love the more posed newborn photographs as you can study every tiny feature of this little wonder and capture the really early moments in great detail.
Photographing my little newborn gave me also an opportunity to try brand new props at DKM photography. I absolutely love the handcrafted driftwood bowl which I filled with knitted blankets and flokati to make it cosy. I dressed Livia in knitted mohair hats, pants and wraps which are extra soft, neutral and perfect for newborn photography. The delicate headbands made with flowers and a bow and on a mohair string add a girly detail to the final image.
